Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth, her family moved to the US. She was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Her middle sister raised her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera career being featured in several National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for best actress at the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she performed the role of Chiara. She's appeared in TV shows like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. The most recent role she has played is an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008, when she joined the crew of the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In the second season Night Shift, she appeared as Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada played Kelly, an actress on Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage in 2009, and was also cast in the television pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn, and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
