The summer of 2020, we will still be uncertain about the future of the Rotary relationship between members. It is clear, however that our hands-to-face ritual is going to remain part of our routine. Rotary is changing. There is no certainty about the way in which our work with humanity is going to incorporate the highly appreciated connections between people which Rotary members enjoyed in the prior time. The mantra "hands face space" will become an integral part of our routine, but it's clear that there's a rising confidence and a need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary is also changing. Rotary has evolved. We've improved our methods of holding the business meetings online as well as reintroducing the social and service aspects with a secure face-to-face setting. These new options were accompanied by our most effective pre-pandemic strategies to create a new and promising prospects for Rotary. In a recent Rotary survey it was heartening to find that 75% of clubs are making plans for their "business regular events" The months of summer have seen many club members on the move, focusing on initiatives such as cleaning the beach and river, litter picking and of course our ongoing support to the society of Rotary volunteer teams who give their time and energy to help COVID testing and vaccination centers. In a Rotary Survey It was encouraging to observe that a majority of the members remain committed to their prior programs and initiatives that have benefited the communities from Great Britain. In addition, I'm pleased to note that Rotary Support Team Rotary Support Team is continuing to provide valuable resources in order to promote and help with the various initiatives. They also maintain infrastructures that keep members safe and protect the general public. Both compliance and insurance is important. We're so pleased with how innovative our members can be in tackling one of the biggest challenges facing our society. Rotary, like so many other clubs, has helped me build a strong network of fellow members with the same values as me and with whom I've developed genuine relationships over the past 20 years.
